About
A first of its kind collaboration between Japanese blending craft and American rye whiskey. Mars takes their flagship Iwai blend (matured in ex-bourbon barrels) and marries it with straight rye whiskey sourced from Kentucky. Bottled at a cocktail friendly 50% ABV, it bridges two whisky traditions in a way that works surprisingly well.
Tasting Notes
Chocolate covered shortbread, baking spices, black pepper, hints of caramel and rye grain.
Bold rye spice meets Japanese whisky smoothness. Cinnamon, clove, and dark fruit layered over creamy toffee with a peppery kick.
