About
Founded by whisky importer Taiko Nakamura in Shizuoka's Okuzashiki region. Home to two distinct pot stills: the wood-fired W still (direct heat, the only one of its kind in the world) and the steam-heated K still (formerly from the legendary Karuizawa Distillery). Cedar fermentation washbacks, a first in whisky, draw from local sake tradition. Underground water from the Japanese Southern Alps feeds the production.
